WestTrans has published a pioneering guide to address the need for smarter travel to faith sites.
The guide, produced for WestTrans by Transport & Travel Research Ltd (TTR) explains that faith destinations like churches, mosques, synagogues and temples are often at the heart of communities, providing an opportunity for people of all ages to gather together for regular worship, special events and festivals. ECO Stars : Award winning fleet recognition scheme launches in Mid Devon with Ministerial support (March 2011)

A new FREE fleet recognition scheme designed to provide operational support for fleet operators in Mid Devon was launched today. Lord Henley, Parliamentary Under-Secretary for Waste Management and Recycling at Defra, announced his support for the free scheme being run by Mid Devon District Council for commercial operators of vans, trucks, buses and coaches in the Mid Devon area.
