TTR have participated in almost 100 EC RTD projects during the last 19 years and has coordinated 41 successful EU funding bids across a number of different programmes.

Identifying Funding

European funding is available for only the most innovative, high quality project proposals. It's important to engage strongly with target groups and work with the right partners. New and existing funding pots are available. TTR has up to date knowledge of forthcoming programmes and can help maximise the chances of local authorities accessing this funding.

Finding Partners

TTR is well connected in Europe and co-ordinates Europe-wide contacts databases and networks. TTR can help find suitable partners for European project consortium formation.

Obtaining Funding

The bidding process for European funding programmes is quite complex and only the best bids succeed. TTR has a thorough understanding of transport policy issues and what the European Commission is looking for from project proposers. We can lead on the preparation of successful proposals for EC grants and can advise and lead on contract negotiations with European Commission officers.

TTR specialises in writing bids for European funding, and sustainability and inclusiveness are important concepts in much of the work we do. We offer a unique service building on our knowledge of the state of the art in the transport sector in the European Union.

TTR has been helping local authorities and other organisations to gain access to EC research and demonstration funding programmes since 1992.
